Scientific objectives
The instrument has been developed for studying natural and artificial ionospheric inhomogeneties with the use of transmissions
of HF broadcasting stations and HF heating facilities. The basic signal parameters used are Doppler spectra of the carrier frequency
providing information about the dynamic processes in a vicinity of the radio wave reflection or scattering region in the ionosphere.
